  • The Brugent is a river that flows through the municipalities of Sant Feliu de Pallerols and Les Planes d’Hostoles.

It functions as a biological corridor between the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa and the lower part of the river Ter thanks to the good state of conservation of the biodiversity it houses.

Due to its high natural value, it is part of the network of Protected Natural Areas of Catalonia and is considered a Special Area of Conservation (ZEC) within the European Natura 2000 network.
